I hope it works for me I’ve had slumps before and I always come out of them, it’s just a matter of not being too down on myself and realizing that it isn’t the end of the world, right?

It’s funny how we can slump in one area of writing and still be able to write other things.

I have also resorted to writing articles _about_ writer’s block when I’m blocked. The irony always cheers me up, and just writing something, anything, usually helps me get past it, too

I agree – we all know how fickle the creative spark can be. I think I need to give up on what I “should” be doing once and for all and just do what comes naturally. Except for napping. Otherwise I’d nap all day and get nothing done

I think the best thing we can do is follow it, when it calls. It’s been working out for me since I stopped waffling and just went with it, anyhow.

I do get a little stressed when I have a lot of stories going though, like you. Here’s hoping someone in there will speak up and demand and ending before it starts to get too irritating for you.

But I’ll bet you can take it!

I’d prefer it if I knew this ahead of time (which POV character to use) but, whether this makes me a freak or not, I’m excited by the challenge to rework it. That’s the thing about writing – it isn’t just about the end product. It’s the process that we get hooked on.
