Working It In

I haven't been very good at sticking to my self-imposed writing schedule, but things are a little slow today, even though I have 2 other copywriting projects that are soon to start, with 2 potential ones (hopefully) coming to me very soon.

I've been caught up in promoting one of my other websites, and although I like doing it, at the end of the day I see that it is just that – a website, nothing that I will be remembered for, nothing that I will look back upon at the end of the year and feel that I have accomplished something through other than sassy blogging about shopping.

So, again, my priorities have come into focus, and I realize that I need to look at it as work and try to leave it behind at 5pm (ok – who am I kidding, more like 7 or 8), so I can devote the rest of my time to my passion. 

Plus, according to the above-mentioned writing schedule, I should just now be finishing my 2nd short story for the year, and in reality, I am only just getting started on my first. But at least I'm doing it.
