AN EXCERPT

He shoved the jar under my nose, jabbing his finger towards a brown spider floating at a spot near the surface. Two larger eyes in the center of its head looked like glossy pellets of caviar that seemed to be dilating, focusing, until suddenly, its legs spasmed all at once as it stirred and tried to pull itself free from the gloop.

READER REVIEWS

A tasty concoction which reminds you a spoonful of SPECIAL INGREDIENT is its own medicine This is a cute little story with a Tales from the Crypt like ending. It’s short and sweet like strawberry preserves. In this case, a happy couple moves into a house and gets a gift of strawberry preserves from a local couple with a local ingredient they don’t quite fond appetizing. Coming from rural Appalachia, I’m going to have to say the ending of the book isn’t so much a twist as probably accurate. Hehe. Fun stuff.
