With a billion and one projects on the go right now, it speaks a lot to my need for some sort of schedule.<\/p>\n<p>When I am working on a story that doesn&#39;t have a specific deadline in mind, it&#39;s easy to get caught up in every minute detail or simply flit from one project to the next and never finish anything.<\/p>\n<p>[ Photo: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sxc.hu\/profile\/alitaylor\" target=\"_blank\">Ali Taylor&nbsp; <\/a>]<\/p>\n<p> So, when I heard about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wesewrimo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">WeSeWriMo (Web Series Writing Month)<\/a>, I was instantly curious.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nanowrimo.org\" target=\"_blank\">NaNoWriMo<\/a> is good for me. Sure, it&#39;s a crazy undertaking, but having that specific deadline and daily word count to work toward is made for me.I&#39;ve been wanting to offer some free\/minimal payment content for a while now, and an online serial has always been on my to-do list.<\/p>\n<p>So, I have decided to take up the challenge. I&#39;m a bit worried that our annual camping trip might hinder my progress a bit &#8211; but then again I tend to get up early when we&#39;re camping &#8211; and what better setting to jot down some words than sitting lakeside every morning with my cup of brewed-over-the-campfire coffee?<\/p>\n<p>Come August, I&#39;m taking the plunge. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wesewrimo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Care to join me<\/a>?<\/p>\n<p> In other news, I&#39;ve got a pile of stories to be read that rivals my mountain of WIPs. With tales from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smashwords.com\/books\/view\/14774\" target=\"_blank\">Jenny Hudock<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/strangepublications.blogspot.com\/2010\/04\/final-study-of-cooper-m-reid-by-barry.html\" target=\"_blank\">Barry Napier<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smashwords.com\/books\/view\/12263\" target=\"_blank\">Aaron Polson<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.zerotorockstar.com\/1\/post\/2010\/05\/sneak-preview-cover-art-for-tales-from-the-abyss.html\" target=\"_blank\">R. Van Saint<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/jasonmtucker.com\/blog6\/excerpts\/blood-magic-and-a-concubine-excerpt\/\" target=\"_blank\">Jason Tucker<\/a>, to name just a handful, I&#39;ve got loads of inspiration just waiting for me to partake.<\/p>\n<p> <a href=\"http:\/\/opengravemysteries.bloodlettersink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/wp-content\/images\/postphotos\/blackwreath.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Black Wreath by M. Jones\" title=\"Black Wreath by M. Jones\" hspace=\"3\" width=\"116\" height=\"30\" align=\"right\" \/><\/a>I&#39;ve also started reading <a href=\"http:\/\/bloodlettersink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Melissa Jones&#39;<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/opengravemysteries.bloodlettersink.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Black Wreath<\/a>.
