I found this old story I&#39;d written about Dad.  The thing is, I don&#39;t even remember writing it &#8211; not one recollection.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/wp-content\/images\/postphotos\/sixfeetunder.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Breathe Me\" title=\"Breathe Me\" width=\"336\" height=\"238\" align=\"right\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I know Dad and I didn&#39;t have the best relationship for the last years of his life.  It&#39;s a real mixture of emotions, my relationship with him.  I never hated him, just couldn&#39;t understand some of his actions.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#39;t know how this short-story will turn out.  I&#39;ve only scratched the surface, and I don&#39;t know how I will get through the emotions that will come up.  Some people might ask why would subject myself to the pain and loss again.  I think it could be good for me.  It could help me resolve some of these longstanding issues.  And who am I to deny my own feelings? I&#39;m human, and feel.
