Finally got the internet radio to work, so I am here listening to funky d&amp;b while I type.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->Talked to Ron today. We had a great talk &ndash; about life, buying homes, going back to school, and hoping, one day, for our businesses to so successful that we can do them full-time.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I miss the days when he &amp; I were close.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>I don&rsquo;t know that I was ever much good at giving him advice, but I do know that I was always a good listener.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>It sucks that we don&rsquo;t see one another much anymore.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>I feel pretty lucky that we are so close in age and that I was able to grow up with a brother who I got along with. Plus &ndash; we had so many crazy, wild parties together at the various party houses!<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">Worked a bit on my story again today. <span>&nbsp;<\/span>Some of the passages are really good (but is it sad that most of those are from when I originally started it a year or two ago).<span>&nbsp; <\/span>But there are also some that just don&rsquo;t fit, and I think that is because I&rsquo;m not even completely sure what I want to say.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">But I know I&rsquo;ll get it.<span>&nbsp; <\/span><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->It will all come together.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I don&rsquo;t feel so down on myself today.<span>&nbsp; <\/span><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->I don&rsquo;t know why it surprised me, but I read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kerismith.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">Keri Smith&rsquo;s<\/a> journal today and even she was feeling badly, comparing herself to other artist&rsquo;s and wondering if she us good enough, creative enough.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">It amazed me, because in my eyes, she is already successful.<span>&nbsp; <\/span><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->She&rsquo;s had a few of her books published and evern she has doubts.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->It gives me hope that I can overcome my own self-doubt &ndash; or at least be able to succeed despite it.<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">I&rsquo;ve also been exchanging emails with Katrina from Feisty Scribe. She&rsquo;s really cool, and has had some really supportive things to say, which is great considering we don&rsquo;t know one another.<!--[if !supportEmptyParas]-->&nbsp;<!--[endif]--><\/p>\n<p>I&rsquo;m a mover &amp; shaker now! D even joked about making me one of his characters.<span>&nbsp; <\/span>I&rsquo;d actually love to see what twisted nutter he&rsquo;d make me into!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today has been a good day.
