For this edition of Altered Words, I wanted to try something different. I’ve been working on book edits for months so my Reaper<\/strong> book is at the forefront of my mind. But reading these chapters over and over again has made me lose a little of the magic of the book.<\/p>\n

Not that I don’t still love it! But sometimes, re-reading things so much makes the words lost a bit of their luster. So, why not try to find the magic again? And Altered Words is the perfect way!<\/p>\n

ABOUT ALTERED WORDS<\/strong><\/p>\n

Altered Words is my take on “blackout poetry\u201d, where I take a story, poem, or other literary work and try to \u201cfind\u201d a story within by simply crossing out the words I do not want to include in my piece.\"\"<\/strong><\/p>\n

ABOUT THE TEXT<\/strong>
\nI took a page from my manuscript and “found” a poem lurking inside!The book is tentatively titled So Shall You Reap<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n

It is a dark, gritty thriller<\/strong> about a tattoo artist and Reaper named Kohl Crowe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

When Kohl accidentally violently kills someone instead of simply helping them to pass on, he is forced to uncover the truth about his past while trying to keep his true identity<\/strong> a secret.<\/p>\n

In this section of the book, Kohl<\/strong> is at one of his usual spots, an abandoned warehouse<\/strong> in the Portlands, an old industrial section of the city. He and his fellow Reapers meet there to blow off a little steam at Fight Night<\/strong> where anyone can get in the ring and beat the crap out of whomever wants to challenge them. Kohl goes toe-to-toe with his nemesis, Ace<\/strong>. There is no love lost between these two.\"\"<\/p>\n
