I mean, if I send things out and no one publishes them, am I awful? Friends and family aren&#39;t necessarily unbiased when reading something I&#39;ve written. I mean, there are things I&#39;ve written that I feel are good. That I am proud of, that I genuinely like. But how do I know if I&#39;m any good? Who&#39;s to say? If I am never published, how do I ever know whether what I write is good or not?<\/p>\n<p> Success to me is just DOING it, I&#39;m not saying I will never be happy unless I have a book published. As much as I may get down about it, in my heart I do believe that as long as I am sharing my words, that is success enough for me.
