This year was all about my<strong> taking classes<\/strong>, <strong>learning new techniques<\/strong>, and not only finding but <strong>exploring my writing voice<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I feel <strong>more confident than ever<\/strong> about my writing. I know it takes time but I won\u2019t ever quit and I feel like 2020 is going to be filled with great news. And a lot of hard work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have a lot of goals, but I\u2019ll save that for another post. Today, I\u2019ll pat myself on the back for the work I did in 2019 and remember all the <strong>story seeds<\/strong> I turned into ideas; all those days I never thought I\u2019d be able to <strong>translate the idea <\/strong>in my head onto paper; and all those stories I finished &amp; <strong>sent out into the world<\/strong>. Or, better yet, <strong>that glorious feeling<\/strong> when someone reads what you\u2019ve written and tell you how much they enjoyed it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There\u2019s nothing better than that.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As the year comes to a close, I\u2019ve been looking back on everything I did in 2019.
