It was a little too focused on what I didn\u2019t accomplish, but looking back, I did a lot this year.<\/p>\n<p>I took <strong>2 writing classes<\/strong>, in which I wrote <strong>11 stories<\/strong>. I also write another <strong>3 stories<\/strong> after my classes finished. Most importantly, I feel like I got a better hold on my writing voice.<\/p>\n<p>I took on a really <strong>cool freelancing project<\/strong> that is still ongoing.<\/p>\n<p>I did a big chunk of edits on my <strong>Reaper book<\/strong> (which are still ongoing). I realized I still really love this book and hope to keep up the momentum in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>I also started<strong> outlining a new book,<\/strong> which I start working on Jan. 1st! Daily class assignments! Reading &amp; critiquing the work of 6 other classmates! 6 months of writing! 4 months of editing! It\u2019s going to be intense\u2026and I cannot wait!<\/p>\n<p>I also started posting part of my serial thriller, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wattpad.com\/story\/188688196-thicker-than-water\">Thicker Than Water<\/a>, on Wattpad. I know\u2026I need to get back to that.<\/p>\n<p>One of my stories made <a href=\"https:\/\/ellendatlow.com\/2019\/09\/15\/full-recommended-list-for-2019-best-horror-of-the-year-volume-eleven-part-3\/\">Ellen Datlow\u2019s Recommended Reading List<\/a> for Best Horror Of The Year! SO EXCITING! My next goal is to get a story in the anthology.<\/p>\n<p>I also had the undying support &amp; love of my writerly friends at <a href=\"http:\/\/midnightsocietytales.com\/\">The Midnight Society<\/a> &#8211; thank you <strong>Jolene, Brian, Amy, Kathy, Erica, Jenna, Faith &amp; Vicki<\/strong>!!
