Even though my outline isn\u2019t as complete as I wanted it before starting, things are going fairly well. I\u2019m <strong>almost through the rough draft of my first act (4 chapters)<\/strong>. I\u2019m writing less than I would on a normal project (I\u2019m averaging around 1200 words\/day) but with all the other things going on (freelance articles; reading work from fellow classmates; still more book research), I\u2019m okay with taking a slow approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since I\u2019ll be sharing my book in rough form with my classmates and I have to <strong>deliver a specific word count to them very month<\/strong>, I want to make sure I save time every month to at least do a rough pass over my work. I know they\u2019re supposed to see it rough, to help me pinpoint where I\u2019m lacking, but that doesn\u2019t mean I\u2019m not going to try to at least make it look a bit better than a few ideas shoved together \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for my witches, things have already<strong> taken a turn<\/strong>. <strong>Outside threats <\/strong>have made themselves known and now it is up to the Covens to decide how they are going to <strong>keep themselves safe<\/strong>, not just<strong> from those who want to do them harm<\/strong>, but to <strong>preserve their powers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/3fiomLPaNh1GGub2Kg\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, I haven\u2019t really been stuck yet.
