March and April were a struggle, creatively and if not for the <strong>Novel In A Year Workshop<\/strong> I\u2019m taking, I\u2019m not sure I would have gotten anything new written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Somehow, I\u2019ve come out on the other side of that slump with actual accomplishments!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE MAD RUSH<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>May and the beginning of June, I spent doing the <strong>3rd round of revisions on my Reaper book<\/strong> and I\u2019ve now submitted it to<a href=\"https:\/\/tornightfire.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Nightfire<\/a>, the horror imprint of big <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">publisher Tor<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/u4Ac3yBekb2r6\/giphy.gif\" alt=\"\"\/><figcaption>SO EXCITING!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I know so many people who have submitted novels or novellas and it\u2019s a very exciting time. I put in many, many late nights and early mornings so I\u2019m pretty proud of all the hard work. Here\u2019s hoping I\u2019ll have great news to celebrate soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">THE EPIC CONTINUES<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Now that the Reaper book is done, I\u2019m back working on the <strong>Witches<\/strong>. I have <strong>until the end of July<\/strong> to finish the first draft, and then it\u2019s <strong>back into the Revision Mines for 4 months<\/strong> to polish this book up. I\u2019m definitely going to work to make It darker and more magical, and I can\u2019t wait for you all to read this book!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">OTHER BITS<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I have no shortage of story ideas and intend to write at least 2 more in the coming weeks. I\u2019ll also be putting my story, <a href=\"http:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/book\/what-lies-beneath-4\/\">What Lies Beneath<\/a>, into ebook form for sale.
