This month\u2019s poem comes from my story The Weaver Witch<\/em><\/strong>, originally published in Issue Two of Frightmarish Zine<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her Absurd Delights<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
\n

The old crone’s <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ashen fingers touch her<\/p>\n\n\n\n

throat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pain burns, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

willing her suffering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

forth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her fingernails<\/p>\n\n\n\n

fashioned from whittled bones<\/p>\n\n\n\n

stretch to the ceiling, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

insidious and thorny, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

like some creature<\/p>\n\n\n\n

at the mercy of those who<\/p>\n\n\n\n

succumb to <\/p>\n\n\n\n

her absurd delights<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
