Is the year flying by for everyone or is it just me?<\/p>\n

Time is strange, isn\u2019t it? We\u2019re almost heading into spring, but it\u2019s been a pretty mild winter here in Toronto. We\u2019ve had a few snowstorms, but they mostly melt within a few days. Honestly, I can\u2019t wait for grilling season!<\/p>\n

But, before those lazy park days, I\u2019ve got a lot to do! I had a lot of things on my To DO list last month, so let\u2019s check on those first to see how I did.<\/p>\n

Write Witches Book 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m over 55k<\/strong> and almost halfway through the rough drafted chapters I worked on in January. Things are going well but I have to pick up the pace if I want to hit my goal of finishing this draft by the end of March!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write 1 folklore entry \/week<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Nope. Ugh. I\u2019ve been so focused on the book. I might have to move this project to later in the year if I want to give it the attention it needs. Maybe NaNoWriMo<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write story for Frightmarish 9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Again, I didn\u2019t work on a new story but I did pin down my focus for issues coming this year! I\u2019ve only had 1 subscriber re-subscribe so far. I know people might wait until the new issue is out, so hopefully I\u2019ll see more interest then. Hoping to get this done by the end of March, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Design Sister Moon website<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Done! It\u2019s bare bones right now<\/a>. I still need to add more posts!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outline Reaper Book 2<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As I think I mentioned, Reaper Book 2 kind of stalled out. I didn\u2019t have a solid idea and I want to keep moving on the witch book. I\u2019m okay with that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edit Reaper Book 1<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I think this is going to be more involved than I anticipated. I thought I\u2019d cut a few chapters, work in the important details from those chapters and then re-read it. I think it needs more help than that.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Promote The Bone Key<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Yup! I\u2019ve been sharing teasers to social media. I\u2019m trying to find the balance between piquing interest and not overwhelming my feed with promos. Maybe once I have cover art to share I\u2019ll ramp up my efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
