After my workout, I sat outside. It made me miss having an actual yard (or living closer to ground level). You can't hear the crickets from the 32nd floor. You can't smell the deep, dank earth on cool nights like I could tonight. I should go sit down there on the nights I can't sleep and write in the near-dark. Or just lay back on one of the lounge chairs and daydream. <\/p>\n
Too bad the city lights completely outshine the stars. That is probably the thing I miss most from camping – the night sky and the endless canopy of stars & constellations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
