{"id":88,"date":"2007-11-18T14:11:35","date_gmt":"2007-11-18T21:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/18\/lost-in-the-plot\/"},"modified":"2007-11-19T03:30:04","modified_gmt":"2007-11-19T10:30:04","slug":"lost-in-the-plot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/2007\/11\/18\/lost-in-the-plot\/","title":{"rendered":"Lost in the Plot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>How quickly the tide turns.&nbsp; I&#39;m feeling lost in my story today.&nbsp; Trying to weave so many threads in, around and under one another, and feeling like I&#39;m all thumbs.<\/p>\n<p>This is the biggest writing project I&#39;ve ever attempted, and the first full-length story I&#39;ve written for a few years, so when I get stuck like I have today, I can&#39;t help but wonder if I&#39;m capable of finishing.<\/p>\n<p>Brief flashes and still frames of the story have begun to creep into my dreams, which could explain why I&#39;ve had tension headaches literally every day &amp; night this week.&nbsp; I&#39;m not sure whether they are from the fitful sleep I&#39;ve been getting, or maybe from sitting hunched over the keyboard or intently scribbling at my desk.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully a break this weekend will allow me to relax, recoup and be ready to take it all on again come Monday.
