So far, this revision has been pretty easy (knock on wood). I had a pretty solid story structure going into writing, even if I had to stop partway through my Zero Draft to rework chapters because some of the plot points ended up being too similar once I fleshed them out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But as I\u2019m about halfway through Scene-Level tasks, I\u2019m feeling that resistance to keep going. I mean\u2026I know I will. But I guess it\u2019s just the slog of it all. And also knowing that the page-level revisions will probably take the longest. That\u2019s where I\u2019ll be working on refining dialogue, getting rid of passive voice, adding in more setting details, working on the overall flow. Not to mention any weak sentences, word choices, and all that fun stuff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Right now, I\u2019m aiming to wrap it all up by the end of April, but I\u2019m not sure if that\u2019s too ambitious or not.
