So, I\u2019ve spent the last few weeks fitting various marketing workshops into my day, trying to find some good tips on using social media to find readers. Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok, blogging <\/strong>etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After making copious notes, I came up with a monthly schedule<\/strong>, figuring I\u2019d make 10 posts\/week<\/strong> across my platforms (some that point followers to blog posts or other content), plus my quarterly newsletter<\/strong>, my blog<\/strong>, and extra content for my Patreon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then\u2026<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I immediately abandoned the idea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seeing all those posts laid out in my calendar was seriously depressing, because the one thing I didn\u2019t see was any writing time<\/strong>. Because we all know\u2026what you think will be an hour or two pre-writing posts turns into an almost-an-entire-day thing, and then writing gets pushed by the wayside. And that\u2019s the last thing I want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nothing makes me more depressed than NOT creating – and I don\u2019t mean content!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
