First, let\u2019s see how I did in August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">August Intentions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>WRITE:<\/strong> Folk Horror novella: Still a bit of a slow start, but I\u2019m about 15k into it.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REVISE:<\/strong> The Bone Key sequel: I\u2019m halfway through my final read-through.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>PREPARE:<\/strong> dReadCon tasks: Only 1 more thing to do! Less than 2 weeks until the big day!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CREATE:<\/strong> Cut-Out Poetry &#8211; Sort of lost momentum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Now\u2026September\u2019s Intentions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>WRITE:<\/strong> Folk Horror Novel(la)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>REVISE:<\/strong> The Bone Key sequel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OUTLINE:<\/strong> 2nd Folk Horror novella<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CREATE:<\/strong> Outstanding Ink website<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>WRITE:<\/strong> Story for Collection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WRITE:<\/strong> Folk Horror Novel(la) &#8211; I\u2019m 15k\/4 chapters in. Am I fooling myself into thinking this will still be a novella??!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>REVISE:<\/strong> The Bone Key sequel &#8211; I wanted this done a long time ago. But after reading 15\/30 chapters I\u2019m confident I can get this done (and write the synopsis) this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>OUTLINE:<\/strong> 2nd Folk Horror novella &#8211; I\u2019m excited to dig into this one! And to have a completed outline so I have something new to work on when I need a break from the other projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CREATE:<\/strong> Outstanding Ink website &#8211; I managed to salvage most of the content from my old copywriting website, so I\u2019ll be back at that in the next few weeks. I also lamented a bit wondering if people even hire copywriters anymore or just rely on AI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WRITE:<\/strong> Story for Collection &#8211; I\u2019d love to write these final stories by the end of the year so I can start formatting this collection!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">End Notes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dreadconcan.com\/\">dReadCon<\/a> prep sort of took a bit out of some of my progress on various projects, but now that it\u2019s almost here, I can get back to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also liked alternating weeks on\/off between my two main projects. And yet\u2026things still aren\u2019t moving fast enough for me \ud83d\ude42 I might try 4 days: Main Project\/1 day: Minor Project this week to see how it goes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One other thing I\u2019ll say &#8211; I know it seems like I\u2019m doing a lot. And maybe I\u2019m sometimes hard on myself. But I set these monthly intentions to continue to strive for my goals, to remain persistent in realizing my dreams. And even if I don\u2019t hit these goals, it helps keep me motivated, even when I don\u2019t hit every goal.
