I have so many things I want to accomplish, and trying to get all my thoughts, ideas and deadlines organized is a lot! But I also have to remember that not everything needs to be decided in one day. Things change. Schedules shift. And that\u2019s okay!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luckily, I did some of the legwork already. As I talked about a bit in previous posts, I created a self-publishing schedule for 2026, so I know most of my big projects for the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I also want to finish revamping my freelance copywriting website, get back to putting out new issues of <a href=\"https:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/frightmarish-zine\/\">Frightmarish Zine<\/a>, and bring back more tangible rewards for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.patreon.com\/maryrajotte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">my Patreon<\/a>. With the shift to go offline more, to stop doomscrolling and go analog, I think snail mail is a great way to do that. And I did buy a used typewriter a few years ago for <a href=\"https:\/\/maryrajotte.com\/blog\/product\/macabre-mail\/\">Macabre Mail postcards<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">13 Wishes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the holidays, I took part in a little ritual for the impending new year. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.anjapoehlmann.com\/the-magic-of-13-wishes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">13 Wishes Ritual<\/a> (or sometimes known as The 13 Wishes of Yule), this entails writing down 13 intentions for the year. Starting on the Winter Solstice, you randomly select one of these intentions and without reading it first, burn it.
