I can\u2019t believe I finally get to write this \u2026 the sequel to The Bone Key<\/a> is DONE<\/strong>!!! And what a journey it has been!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started outlining in September 2023<\/strong>! That feels so long ago. It was a few months after I signed the contract for The Bone Key<\/strong>. I knew I wanted to write a sequel, but it took some time to find how Valeria\u2019s story would continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I drafted from the end of 2023 to early 2024<\/strong>, then took the rest of 2024 to revise. During that time, my Mom died, which completely derailed anything creative. It took me 4 or 5 months until I was able to get back to the book. But I did. It\u2019s what she would have wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revisions continued from early 2025 through to\u2026now! I work on multiple projects at once. I\u2019ve also been taking courses toward an Editorial Skills certificate, so it seems like it has taken FOREVER, but in honesty, the entire process wasn\u2019t every day for 3 years from start to finish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But\u2026it\u2019s done! I\u2019m doing the final nit-picking of my query letter and synopsis, and then the real fun begins…finding an agent and selling this book!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SO\u2026NOW WHAT?<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

If you thought I\u2019d be sitting back with my feet up, sipping a margarita\u2026you\u2019d be wrong! My full focus is going into the folk horror novella<\/strong> now. I\u2019m aiming for minimum 3k per day. I also have a new class starting soon, plus ongoing writerly promo and looking for more freelance\/ghostwriting projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So\u2026back to the Writing Nook I go!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
