THE WEEKLY BREW: A “Me Problem”

I planned to work on short stories last week, but wasn’t feeling the greatest, so I spent most of my week working from my over-bed desk on The Bone Key Sequel edits. I worked through chapters 16-30, typing up most of my revisions. I still have to type up the notes I made for the last 5 chapters, and then it’s back to the beginning for what I hope is the last or next-to-last review of the manuscript.

This week, I’m motivated to get these short story drafts done! The clock is ticking! I’m also creating something special that will supplement the quarterly edition of Frightmarish Zine (which I’m bringing back this year!). So, I have lots to accomplish in these last two of weeks in the month.

I also forgot how focusing on one project for any given week is great for progress on said project, but I still need to sneak in at least 1 day on my secondary project when I can so I don’t fall behind.

Isn’t it annoying though…how we can always feel so behind on things? Even when we’re getting things done! Is that just a “Me Problem”? Or do you do this, too?
