Why I Have Been Incognito

I wanted to wait until I had told my family, so now I can post about why I've been MIA for the last week.

I got engaged on Friday!

It was a very romantic evening, and a complete surprise to me, but I am extremely happy.
I have had definite difficulties concentrating on any one task.

Chris – my fiancé – is convinced I am a closet Monica (from Friends), because I am suddenly mentioning various girly-girl things, as he put it, about our wedding. Well, I think this is one place where I am allowed to be a girly-girl! I think he's afraid I am going to pull out some pink, frilly binder with wedding ideas cooked up in grade school or something.
