Today is a special day, everyone. A day to celebrate someone who is always celebrating others.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my girl, JOLENE!

Jolene is the founder of The Midnight Society. She is the one who brought all of us crazy, creepy kids together.

Jolene…I’m not sure how it happened but somehow the Yeah Yeah Yeahs wrote a song about you. And I know why. Because girl, you’re something’ like a phenomena!

You are one of the most positive people I’ve ever met. So generous, so giving, so incredibly amazing, and a brilliant author to boot.

The world would be a better place with more people like you in it. Unfortunately, that’s impossible because you are truly one-of-a-kind!

I hope your birthday is equally as bright & shimmery as you!
