On Winning The HWA Scholarship

So, as you can see from the title of this post, I have some REALLY exciting news to share.

I WON THE HWA SCHOLARSHIP!!!

This is the 2nd year I’ve applied and I am SO STOKED to be awarded this honor.

So, what does this mean? Well, I’ve got a bunch of classes & workshops that I want to take in the next two years. I know this sounds like it’s just good for me but that’s where you’re wrong, peeps!

Taking these classes will help me to up my writing game; to hone my skills and uncover ones I didn’t even know I had. The end result? Not just more stories from yours truly but better stories!

In fact, I’ve already signed up for my first workshop, which starts in about a week! Eeeee!!!!!

I love writing. And I know I can write. But I also know that I have more to learn and with this award, I’ll be able to learn new techniques to bring you, my readers, stories that are even more skin-crawlingly good.

I’ll definitely share my adventures over the next two years – all the things I learn. And anything that will help you, my fellow authors, to tap into your writing potential!
