Curiouser & Curiouser
Life has changed really quickly, hasn’t it? Just last week (okay, maybe the week before), we were going out to dinner at our favorite Mexican restaurant or to the movies in those really cushy lounge chairs; making plans for upcoming get-togethers with friends, or heading to the grocery store whenever we could to pick up pizza & salad for movie night. Now, everyone is in lockdown as much as possible and everything feels like it is up in the air.
I’m still trying to make progress on my various projects but with so many news reports, press conferences and announcements, it has been a lot. I haven’t been sleeping well. And when I do sit down to work, I’m staring at the screen for a long while, working sporadically between checking news sites for updates. As a Type 2 Diabetic, my sugars have been a little higher. It’s not healthy.
I’m a freelancer, so work is pretty topsy-turvy in the best of times. Now, things are kind of up in the air – like much of life.
Now, more than ever, I need to keep looking for ways to earn, especially when I’m not sure when my next project will be coming.
I already have my Patreon campaign, but I know a lot of people are reluctant to commit to monthly support, even if it is for $1. So here are some other ways you can support me!
You can support me with a one-time donation on Curious Fictions! For $2, $5 or $10, you gain access to all stories posted there.
You can pick up my short story ebooks on Amazon.
Or if you can’t afford to subscribe, you can read the first 4 chapters of my serialized novel, Thicker Than Water, for free on Wattpad – and then review it! The more readers I get on Wattpad, the better chance I have of becoming one of their Paid Authors!
Anything you read of mine, I would love it if you could share your review on Twitter/Facebook/Amazon so others can hear about my work.
Things are so crazy right now. The only way I can get through them is to keep writing, try harder, and get better at what I do. Some of that comes just from knowing others are reading my work.
