Hands of Time
Great day yesterday. We finally made our way down to Buffalo to buy the digital camera. It is super cool! It has a bunch of presets, such as landscape, sunset, portrait, etc. I wish we had it for our trip to Washington.
I got a few more booklets for college and university courses. I'm still waiting on BCOU. As much as I think the English degree sounds interesting, I think what I want are courses geared toward creative writing. The problem is most of those are on-campus programs. The ultimate one seems to be York, because you can major in English and minor in Creative Writing. So, if that's the program I'm serious about, maybe we can look for a house in that vicinity so I can just take the transit to school.
DJR and I have been chatting more regularly lately. I really want to bounce some of my ideas and concerns off of him – he has a lot of experience and passion to share, and is becoming a great friend.
Task one for this week (TAW) is to describe my childhood room and my favorite thing in at. I had a lot of childhood rooms. Nothing really sticks out as my favorite thing, though.
How can it be that I don't remember these things? It sort of annoys me! What was I like as a child? Did I daydream too much, is that why I don't remember?
Now that I'm on the subject, I do remember few my favorite things though. One was that musical apple from Fisher Price. Another was my Holly Hobby lunch pail. It wasn't like every other lunch pail. It was soft-sided, vinyl, with a zipper that ran around the oval lid.
I also remember the Bugs Bunny puppet Marc gave me. He died a sad and violent death when our dog, Sarge, shredded him. All that remained were Bugs' plastic eyes!
