I…oh, I’m still alive

Well, even though our move isn't done and over with yet, we are living at the new place and loving it! Granted, we have been way too busy to even partake in any of the amenities here…but just this change has made all the difference.

I'm hoping next week I can get my mind back (that pesky thing!) and get working on my entry for the Toronto Star. I know I will regret it if I don't send something in. I also have to get back to my workout routine. There is an exercise room in the condo. Is it strange that I feel intimidated to go down there, with all these buff guys working out every day?? I wish they had a women's only side. I wonder if there is a suggestion box somewhere?!

We did a bit of shopping at Ikea with the gift cards we had left over from last Christmas. But we're waiting on buying anything else until after we have our housewarming party. I can't express how much I just want to go out and shop up a storm! Kitchenware excites me! But alas…we must wait.

A few weeks until we get our TV. I still feel like we should have waited…but it's Chris' thing…and we can also now afford a surround sound system with the cheque his parents gave us! I'm just afraid that once we settle, we're really going to be pinching pennies. I wish the business would pick up…maybe people will order more for Christmas. I think we should do gift certificates this year. We've been putting it off…

Anyway, I'm going to relax on our new couch! Pics of the new pad coming soon!!!
