Beware of The Culling

Well, I finally have some great news to share about a new story you’ll be seeing soon in print from yours truly!

I sold my short story, The Culling, to Black Buttons Vol. 3 from Magnificent Cowlick Media. YESSSSS!

I’m SO excited to have this story in print! I think I first started submitting it to markets back in like 2013. Of course, it has gone through many changes since then. I had a bunch of different beta readers give me feedback after every rejection. It even made it to the final round of stories being considered by Cemetery Dance.

After sending it to Mark at MCM, he sent me back some really great editorial notes that I think helped to take this piece from something pretty cool to one that will linger with you long after you’ve finished reading it.

The anthology will be coming out this fall, so stay tuned to my blog or my social media channels for an announcement of the publication date.
