Lost in the Plot

How quickly the tide turns.  I'm feeling lost in my story today.  Trying to weave so many threads in, around and under one another, and feeling like I'm all thumbs.

This is the biggest writing project I've ever attempted, and the first full-length story I've written for a few years, so when I get stuck like I have today, I can't help but wonder if I'm capable of finishing.

Brief flashes and still frames of the story have begun to creep into my dreams, which could explain why I've had tension headaches literally every day & night this week.  I'm not sure whether they are from the fitful sleep I've been getting, or maybe from sitting hunched over the keyboard or intently scribbling at my desk.

Hopefully a break this weekend will allow me to relax, recoup and be ready to take it all on again come Monday. Hopefully…
