With my online classes behind me until July, I’ve been taking advantage of not having homework and getting back to my big projects. Here’s what’s going on these days in the writing nook:

Thicker Than Water – A Serialized Novel

I posted the first chapter to Thicker Than Water to Wattpad and to my Patreon page.

When Duncan MacDoyle learns of a death in the family, he is forced to return to the hometown he left after his mother died. When questions surface about foul play, Duncan is plunged headlong into the history of the eccentric old mill town and his family’s role in its mysterious past.

Reaper Novel Revision

I haven’t worked on the book since December! AHHH! With all the classes I was taking, I didn’t have time for revisions and now I’ve got a few freelance projects but I intend to get back to revision in June. I have to keep going if I want to reach my goal of getting this revision done by the end of the year (hopefully sooner). Tattoos & punk rock? Yes, please!

Sorority Screams

My serial fiction, Sorority Screams is feeling a little neglected. If I don’t get back to it sooner than July, I will at the very least be working toward finishing it during July’s edition of Camp NaNoWriMo. Once I start editing that, it will also go up on my Patreon!

Lockwood Novella Trilogy

I’ve wanted to write these novellas FOREVER. After a few failed attempts, I’ve been working the past few weeks to chop out all the old, boring chapters that had no conflict and now I’ve got all 20 chapters outlined. I’m just fine-tuning the finer points and I’ll be writing Book 1 in June.

I’m SO EXCITED for this one! I LOVE mummies and Ancient Egypt and I’ve built in some pretty cool suspense and even CIPHERS. YES. CIPHERS READERS CAN DECODE. It’s going to have a dark vibe similar to Penny Dreadful…

I’ve Got it Goin’ On!

So, I know it might not look like much is going on but there is A LOT GOING ON. add to all of the above my freelance projects and short stories I’m trying to finish and send out and well…I seem to work best when I’m overwhelmed with projects because the ideas keep coming! Can’t complain about that!
